Lauren is a Registered Counselling Therapist Candidate and a Canadian Certified Counsellor. She obtained her Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology and Psychology from Memorial University of Newfoundland, then her Masters of Arts degree in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University. Lauren also holds a certificate in Criminology from Memorial University of Newfoundland.
Lauren believes that therapy is not “one-size-fits-all”. Working from a client-centered, solution-focused approach, Lauren can help you to discover the strengths within yourself. Lauren accepts clients of many ages, ranging from 6 years old and up. Lauren specializes in child and youth therapy, with a focus on trauma, anxiety, and relationship issues. She also has experience in dealing with mood disorders, disordered eating, obsessive-compulsive disorder, and post-traumatic stress disorder.

Tracy has an integrative and collaborative approach to therapy while focusing on the client’s needs with compassion, empathy, and kindness. As an autism-informed professional and a member of CADDRA (Canadian ADHD Resource Alliance), Hannah applies a neurodivergent affirming approach to counselling.

Drew is a compassionate, non-judgemental counsellor who works together with clients to find the right approach to move forward. He is a Registered Counselling Therapist Candidate in Bedford Nova Scotia. He has a Bachelor of Arts from St. Thomas University, a Bachelor of Education from the University of New Brunswick, a Masters in Curriculum Studies from Mount St. Vincent University, and a Masters in Counselling from Acadia University. With over 15 years in the public school system, Drew is greatly familiar with working with families and adolescents on how to cope with anxiety, stress, bullying, grief and loss, emotional regulation, and trauma.
Drew’s work is grounded in strength-based, solution-focused practices. Collaboratively, he can work with clients towards achieving their goals in and outside of counselling. As a queer affirmative counsellor Drew has extensive experience working with that community on topics of identity and orientation. Drew integrates narrative therapy and mindfulness approaches into his practice.

Kristina is a trauma-informed therapist, registered with the Nova Scotia College of Social Workers. She has 14 years of experience in counselling and advocating for survivors and families impacted by gender-based violence. Her practice is grounded in a deep commitment to creating intentional space for healing; building on connectedness, trust, and safety. She hopes to support you in feeling safe, seen, and heard. Kristina invites curiosity, collaboration, and creativity into the therapy space.
Kristina brings specialized knowledge in the areas of; gender-based violence, family violence, sexualized violence, racial trauma, gender in-justices, system-induced trauma, traumatic workplace and life events, addictions, chronic health, PTSD, and grief trauma.

Oshia MacKay received her Bachelor of Arts (BA) from Mount Saint Vincent University with a major in Psychology and a minor in Family Studies, graduating with distinction in 2020. Closely following, she began her master’s program at Yorkville University, achieving her Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology (MACP) in late 2022, graduating top of her class. Oshia became registered with the Nova Scotia College of Counselling Therapists (NSCCT) in February of 2023 and currently holds the title of Registered Counselling Therapist - Candidate (RCT-C).
Oshia has worked with a vast client base of police officers, paramedics, communications officers (911 dispatchers), firefighters, corrections officers, medical providers, search and rescue technicians, and veterans - among others. Many of these individuals were going off work or had been off work, seeking treatment/support in their progression toward fulfilling employment and returning to a level of previous function in which they desire. Oshia also worked with individuals with disabilities; many long-term or permanent, those who had experienced a motor vehicle accident, and/or those experiencing chronic pain. Oshia is very passionate within the field of addictions services.
Oshia’s experience reflects very extensive use of cognitive processing therapy (CPT), cognitive behaviour therapy (CBT), and mindfulness-based interventions (i.e., MBCT or MBSR). However, she has also worked with dialectical behaviour therapy (DBT), strengths-based therapy, and narrative therapy. In recent months, Oshia has also been fascinated by acceptance and commitment therapy, utilizing it in both the standard (ACT) and trauma-focused (TF-ACT) forms.

Lauren Scott is a gay allied therapist with experience working with individuals facing various forms of marginalization and oppression. All her services are queer and trans-friendly. Judith has 15 years of counselling experience. She has vast experience working with families in crisis, and counselling individuals to cope with ADHD, Oppositional Defiant Disorder, behaviour issues, anxiety disorders, depression, trauma, low self-esteem, grief, relationship challenges and emotional regulation difficulties.
Judith uses a trauma aware, holistic approach to counselling. She emphasizes the importance of understanding clients within the context of their environment, relationships, culture, and overall well-being. This approach integrates various techniques from different therapeutic modalities, such as Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Narrative Therapy, and Solution Focused Therapy. Regina has been working with school aged students, ages of 5-18 for over 27 years, 13 of those years working with Special Needs students. She has extensive knowledge in the areas of Autism Spectrum Disorder, mild to severe ADHD, mild to severe behaviour issues, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, Oppositional Defiant Disorder, mild to severe Anxiety Disorder and Panic Disorders. I also have had experience with students suffering from Trauma Disorders. She uses a Trauma aware, strength-based, person-centered approach and utilizes modalities such as Narrative Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Sand Tray Therapy and Play Therapy. Janice Hartley (She/her) is a Registered Counselling Therapist and Clinical Traumatologist in the province of Nova Scotia and a Canadian Certified Counsellor with the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association (CCPA). Her education includes a Bachelor in Psychology, Masters in Counselling Psychology and diploma in Natural Nutrition. She is a member of the International OCD Foundation (IOCDF) and Canadian ADHD Resource Alliance (CADDRA).
Janice is an active therapist, clinical supervisor and also the Clinical Director at the clinic. She oversees clinic operations and is the chief problem solver.
Janice specializes in Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD), trauma and panic/ anxiety in youth and adults. Janice is particularly skilled in working with more severe symptoms of anxiety/phobias and panic. She also has additional specialized training and years of clinical experience working with individuals with ADHD.
She uses an integrated approach to healing and has extensive training across evidence-based therapies. She uses therapies such as polyvagal, somatic, cognitive processing (CP), self compassion, Cognitive Behavioural therapy (CBT) and exposure/ response prevention therapy and cognitive therapies to resolve trauma and symptoms of anxiety and depression, help self-esteem, build assertiveness, choose appropriate boundaries and improve mental health functioning and provide symptom relief. Janice provides a highly ethical and private therapy experience. She works with other therapists, professionals and others seeking a high degree of privacy.
